Batesville School District offers an array of educational and extracurricular activities to students of all ages. From pre-school to high school, parents, teachers and administrators are focused on preparing students for the future. The Early Learning & Enrichment Center provides support for parents and grandparents of young children as well as the Batesville Preschool Center. Area elementary students can choose a theme-focused curriculum at one of four magnet schools: Central Math & Science Magnet, Eagle Mountain Magnet School for Health Wellness & Medical Sciences, Sulphur Rock STEM & Sports Magnet School and West Magnet Elementary School of Visual & Performing Arts.
At Batesville Junior High and Batesville High School, students are prepared for college and/or careers with curriculum and programs that support educational and skill development. They’re also provided a host of opportunities through clubs, such as Drama, Robotics, Chess, Choir, Quiz Bowl and Student Council, and athletics: basketball, baseball, softball, football, volleyball, cross country, track, tennis, soccer, golf, dance and cheer.
